I put an order in with Archery Supplies via their website on the 4th of November. Trying to buy a bow some arrows -the whole 9 yards. Provided credit card details and got and order number. I haven't heard a thing since and get no reply to my emails. Do they still exist? Is this standard with these guys? I find it hard to phone because I'm in NZ and usually at work during their office hours. Anyone got an email address they'll reply to?

mate,

Sounds a bit unusual.

PM Rory or RazorX on this forum. They both work at Archery supplies so would be my recommendation

Cheers

Pete

Unfortunately not, this seems to be happening far too much these days, was the move so disruptive or other reasons?

I'm not aware of customers having any more trouble with them lately than any other store. I've placed a few orders with them both before and after the move and had no issues at all.

I recommend following Hutcho's advise. I'm sure Rory or RazorX can help you.

Emails are all good, they are usually replied to/dealt with at home by Steve before work hours. If you can call the shop that is sweet too.

Maybe you should have done some looking about on this forum and found out helpfull information or possible contacts prior to making your big whinge as your second post. Just a thought.........

if you like now you can PM me via this forum and we can work out what's going on, your post doesn't make any sense how you say, 'Provided credit card details and got and order number'...

why the hell should he have to search a forum to get some info..If he had not tried to contact you guys then far enough but he has tried and no reply.
You should be saying i am very sorry for the delay i will do my best to look after it and i will pm you now with my details so you can contact me directly.. you have done more harm in my eyes to the business by getting on here and having a go at the guy for not searching for details and having a whinge.. i know there is 2 sides to every story but customer service has 1 rule and that is the customer is always right and you should try and make it a point to show that to all other potential customers ...
just a thought

Hey Rory

I didn't even see where Toxo had a big whinge. Didn't he just ask advice for contact details. I've never seen such a poor display of customer relations. Toxo if I were you I'd contact my credit card provider and block that transaction and take my business elsewhere. I'd also copy and paste Rory's reply to you and attach it in an email to his boss. I'm sure he wouldn't be too happy with it.

I do have to agree with the things said here Rory
We all know your proud to be apart of A/S, but dude when I read that I near on fell of my chair
As Jas said it would have been better for the business if you just said you will look into it and not get stroppy about it.
There are always going to be this sort of thing now and then and maybe if you are going to represent the company on here you may need to reassess your attitude towards the paying customer.
Not sure I would be to happy if I were ya boss? But that’s my 2bobs worth
(and all this is said with the intent to help not hinder)
Maybe you didn't mean for it to come across that way, but it did!
Catcha later mate

...spose as per usual I just shouldn't have bothered replying at all...

I just would have thought that if I ordered something a month ago and hadn't received it then I would find out exactly who to contact (and yep, you've emailed, but no good there ...I don't know why) and try all the avenues to get hold of them.

I will PM you and we can sort this out.

... and without adding to the usual flare up...., I have (in my first post here) stated that he should PM me and I will sort out what the hell has happened. By no means (as some recently have just randomly assumed...) that I am telling old mate to get nicked, I am not, but to address the people involved directly (perhaps looking at the forum sponsors and seeing that there are 2 guys on here that are easily contactable) first would be the way to go......?

I have purchased items that have arrived in a few days, cant ask for more than that. I have had one dealing with Rory, he is switched on regarding gear, truthful and extremely helpful. Just remember, the boys are on here for fun, work is work and that is during business hours.

Ive ordered gear through them a few times and always had good service. You must of been the unlucky one in hundred, you get that at any shop i think.

One thing i have found if you call them on the phone they are always helpful with advice etc and you dont feel rushed. Most other places you can tell they just want to get you off the phone.

I've sent all details to Rory and hope he'll sort it. I'm certain the order was placed - just found the original congrats on your purchase automated email.

I wasn't launching an attack on Archery Supplies as this is the only dealing I have had with them - one miss doesn't damn them in my book, if they try and sort it now.

Thanks for the feedback guys - it looks like this forum has bridged the gap for me and maybe soon I'll have that bow.

I Have In The Past Purchased A Bit Of Gear Off This Mob And Had No Real Dramas To Speak Of , However Considering Some Of The Replies That Were Posted By Staff Who Work In The Jiont Dead Set They Wont Be Getting Any More Of My Dough.

Where has all the LOOOVE gone,:(, i read that post that has been taken off, it was (to my mind) having an attack on a person from this site,if someone has problems with service, there are ways to get in touch with those people, all of a sudden it all ends up a "fight" on here, i would not be cynical (no not me),to think there is more to all this, we have posts praising some shops, but condeming others.all this has now got out of hand, and we then get some ones post having a go at a person from this site, when all this could be done via a PM or a phone call.

totally agree rick but it seems just a bit hyocritical that some are let slide with just one side of a story and others are just deleted straight away..

Luke

Jason, nothing was "let slide".

Feedback both positive and constructive is permitted. Both sorts are viewed by Admin as helpful all round.

Catgut's post was a direct attack on a member of this forum. Notwithstanding any other example, these sorts of posts are not permitted.

The thread you refer to (Jeffro's review of BHL) was allowed to remain to allow all parties involved to have their say. Jeffro did not attack Pat in person and even stated so a number of times. Once all had had their say (Pat included) and enough time had passed to allow sufficient members the opportunity to view the entire thread, it was deleted in the interests of both parties.

In this instance a personal attack has been deleted. No explanation is needed.

I'm sure you understand mate.

cheers,

Luke

BTW - Catgut needs no Coaching on what is and is not acceptable on TBGA. Again, I'm sure you understand mate, especially if you read my signature line ;)

Hey all, I spoke (finally) to Toxo (Leon) on the phone this morning and he was pleased to hear the explanation for what had happened, but also that I personally had his order 'out the door'...

He had no probs, and I (as he understood via PM the day I read his post) was going to try and remedy the situation with the internet sales team. Jase and I hadn't even heard of his order till then.

PS - hey 'Catgut', I feel sorry for you... ;)
