Well i am starting to advance into some of the bigger game and i'm looking to buy some broadheads and some arrows to sute them as the arrows i have now are way too weak and have been acceptable on rabbits but wont be acceptable on the bigger game, especially with broadheads on them.

I'm looking for a broadhead that is:
Accurate
Durable
Easy to tune
and of corse at the cheapest price...

me only being a beginner and not knowing much about broadheads, i was just looking for advice on what broadhead to get.
And i would prefer if it was one i could buy from... www.archeryshop.com.au (http://www.archeryshop.com.au)

Any help would be great
thanks,
blake

Hi Blakey, mate, I go with Muzzy tri-blades (125-150 grains). They are awesome I use them on a carbon arrow and find they are great. You should be right with them. Give XTFreak (Cairns Archery Supplies) a PM and speak to him as he is great at helping and giving advice. He will sort you out and I am sure you can get some great advice from him.

Any of Woddys (as already mentioned) or any of the Tuskers will fill your bill.
Anything more than a 2 blade is usually a bit expensive...

Have used the Blackstump on everything from scrub bulls to rabbits, they are Accurate
Durable
Easy to tune.

I have shot plenty of crittters where the arrow has passed through and hit rocks and with a quick touch up I have used them again.

mate i gotta go with woodies 125grn supremes, accurate as, simple 2 blade construction, you can bounce em off rocks and whack em straight back in again for another go. I use them on pigs without any drama, they get great penetration.

i would say woodies and blackstumps. i swore by tuskers and shot a lot of game but on my recent trip to the cape i witness them fail over and over again on pigs.. i have 50+ i will never trust again and i am chucking,i personally am going blackstumps because they are what i shot years ago before they to went through a phase too but they have new owners that seem to be doing a brilliant job of them again.

I have changed back to blackstumps and havn't looked back.
They are a solid well made head and will take any animal you can stick an arrow in.:D

I use woody's Outback Supremes and love em. Great penetration for hogs and no dramas so far. Used to use ribteks and blackstumps but prefer the Outbacks for ease of sharpening, strength, penetration, flight and $$.

Blackstumps all the way.

Best quality you will find, excellent flight and for the money, sensational!
