NQ X-Mas Hunt/Gettogether

I thought as we are looking to get members together Here are the details of a proposed NQ gettogether.....plus anybody else who may want to come..

Late November.....3 1/2 hours drive from Townsville...South of Pentland..
The family hunting package property...

Looking at 3 days Friday to Sunday or Saturday to Monday...or just the weekend

Bring your own food and gear.....All accomodation and Amenities including Pool,Bar, Pool Table etc included..

Approx Cost $50-00 per Adult & $30-00 per child 15 & Under

Come and see the sights, Hunt Rabbits & Pigs and for the adventurous I can organise a Scrub Bull or two $500-00 each...

Cheap weekend away and we can get everybody involved in something..

Would expect maximum numbers to be approx 20 but can be more if some tents are brought....

4 hot showers and toilets...

Bill it's 50km south of Pentland..

So approx 6 1/2 to 7 hours from cairns.

So far to date we are getting quite a crew together...up to about 15 so far...Dates look like the 3rd & 4th of december...

I confirmed dates with the station owner and the price will be..

$50-00 per adult and $30-00 per child 15 and under...
This cost covers your accomodation and amenities for the weekend.

I havn't got time to work out a programme so it will be just do what you want to do and enjoy the outdoors....Wives are most welcome as they can relax around the pool or go sightseeing in the gorges...

You just need to bring your food and drinks...If you have some cooking gear bring it along as there is a large B/Que and power to run any other cooking gear....

I will be calling for definates 2 weeks before the weekend.

G'day Mick,
We still have 6 definates for this turnout should it come together.
Have one chap who wants to knock a Scrubber !.
Another couple just need blooding fullstop. !! great shots and good archers but done small amounts of bowhunting.

Well thought I would give this a bump as its getting closer.

I will be ringing the owner in the next couple of days and finding out if the Scrub Bulls will be available..

I will also give details as how to getb there and what to bring...

Numbers won't be that important as it is a pay as you arrive trip...Only we may run out of Rooms but people can bring tents to sleep in...

OK EVERYBODY IT IS OFFICIALLY ON:

Weekend of the 3/4 Dec..You can arrive friday arvo/night if you like.

Cost $50-00 each for 16 and over $30-00 15 and under.

Thats the total cost for the weekend..

All you need to bring is your food and coolers fridges etc.


There is a large B/Que at the property but if you have a small gas stove bring it.

Pool, Bar, Pool Table & Table tennis and music......Hot & Cold showers 240 power....Airconditioned Rooms for those who are early or bring a tent...

Should be a great time: I think we have 7 from Cairns and 3 from Townsville and a couple from Mackay....Hope we can get about 20 people.

Talked to the owner who is going to check if the Scrub Bulls will be available and he is putting out some molases to bring the hogs in.
There will be bunny's & hogs to hunt plus we will probably set up a hunters course for some fun....

It is a party so bring your wives and kids along as well.

HOW TO GET THERE:

Drive to Pentland which is about 2 1/2 hours west of Townsville about 100km west of Charters Towers. Turn left off the highway over the railway line in town and then turn right when over the railway line. Follow road for approx 50km Binkar Sign Post is on right hand side after Milray turn off. Drive into Binkar from sign post is approx 8 km....Then you are there.

If any of you guys who are coming please confirm on this thread I will try to drum up a few others arround the traps..
