I didn't get out and hunting till around 10am as it took some time to gain permission.

Seems to be fallow deer, and it was very fresh. Im now wondering what season it is here for fallow deer. Didn't find any scrapps or other rubs. But I feel a little bit more relaxed now I have seen this.
Pig print(old) all the rippings and tusk marked trees were from around last summer. Hopefully a few more trips and Ill find where they are for winter.

great stuff mate - looks like thats some promising country you have there - love to check it out with ya sometime  . lovin those pics too. hows the hawkeye as far as shooting quality and performance? it certainly looks pretty sweet! cheers for the pics again and may there be many good hunts for you in WA. :D
Thanks Brian, like I said when you get back to oz a hunting we will go. Same aplies to any other members here, don't be shy to pm me if your interested in coming to w.a.
The hawkeye is a great shooter and spits a weighted carbon out well.
But If I hadn't run out of arrows for my Fred bear it would have cartainly been sitting at home.
Adam
Mmmmm thanks Coach  its ugly like a foxxx.
I love the look mate.
Adam
Oh I haven't shot the blackwidow but would believe it shoots and feels better, not sure.
Adam
Good to get out and see good sign if nothing else Adam, looks like a good spot with plenty of promise. I have heard that the kookaburras in Western Australia are a real enviromental menace and wipeing out some of the native bird species.
Would be a good one to to approach the authorities about to cull with the bow and flu flu's...Glenn...
Ill have to look intot hat Glenn, Seen a few today.
here's a picture that only big mean hunters take, notice a pig dropping in the picture.

With the Armstong longbow in hand this morning I looked over the open country on the place. Most of the morning we stalked the sun and moon making for great photos.
Didn't see as much as a feral animal track in the semi open country, but it will be a remembered morningÃ*s hunt all the same.
It was good and healthy getting up at 5am and heading out. The ground was frost bitten just how I like it. Mmmmm hunting.

This is the time I love to be sitting in the field, I can hear all that surrounds me. Blackness
