Straight Vanes!

Will broadheads fly straight with the vanes stuck on straight or do the vanes have to have a twist when using broadheads?

Depends on the surface area of the vane vs broadhead and how true the shaft with the broadhead attached spins.

I have Blazer vanes with a 1 degree offset straight fletched. Seem to work just fine.

the more helical (twist) the quicker the arrow will spin, newer streamlined broadheads dont plane as readily as larger more conventional broadheads therefore can use blazer type vanes with little if any helical. Generally the bigger the broadhead the larger the vane and the more helical to get it spinning well (less planing)
