Hey there guys

I've got a 2005 Bowtech Allegiance, and I've bought a new string for it.

I need a press and before I bite the bullet and buy one, can anyone here with experience tell me if this press from Cabela's will work on my bow?

http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat21424-cat20080_TGP&id=0004582410578a&navCount=3&podId=0004582&parentId=cat20080&masterpathid=&navAction=push&catalogCode=XH&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat20080&hasJS=true

I don't see why not I thought I better ask though.

cheers

Iam sure it will work on your bow.
Be careful though as they will twist limbs and/or come apart if not used correctly...

i own a bowmaster press and it works great. they are good to have if you dont have access to a proper press for parallel limbed bows, like your allegiance. as always, wind your limbs bolts out 3 or 4 turns from max before beginning work.
edit..i cant see how it would twist the limbs

I do believe the 3 we had in the shop got twisted because the owners had no idea how to use the press. Plus the limb bolts were not wound down...

I have one and have used it successfully on a number of bows. Since I now have the X Force it has made the press redundant so you are welcome to buy mine if you so wish, at a good price:P.
