New bloke !

Just joined up, hello to everybody!!:D Have read some of the threads on the site and found them to be very informative so congrats to you all ! Have only built 5 selfbows so far but am enjoying it totally ! 4 longbows and 1 shortbow of my own design, its sort of a barbarian looking thing with claws coming out of each side of the handle near the fadeouts! Thanks to PERRY for all info I hassled out of him down at the club! And have cut and tested that giant bamboo I was telling him about with plans to make my next bow out of it completely! thats all I have for now better off back to work!

Thanks for the kind words Chad . I'm dead keen to see that short fantasy sort of bow you made , how you where going to tiller it had me intrigued , give us some details and a few pictures . Thanks for the welcome guys! Have pics (only taken with my phone) but having trouble resizing the files to upload?? also what tillering profile would work best on very narrow limbs to stop them from bending off centre ? :confused: any info would be greatly appreciated !
