I had the opportunity to shoot one only for a few hours and I was sold. I was shooting an extremely nice Check Mate Hunter II at the time but the GMII was easier to draw (although a heavier poundage) and seemed much faster without any undue handshock, noise or vibration. Even within a hundred shots or so, I felt I was more accurate. Some blokes own and have owned them on this site.
I spoke to Ray Banfield last year, for those who dont know him, he has shot recurve for many decades and is a switched on unit when it comes to trad stuff. He purchased one and was extremely impressed with it and cant he shoot it. Stick shooting is great fun but get some lessions from someone who knows what they are talking about, it makes the transition much more enjoyable.....
