HOOD

Just wanted to show off my new arm guard that was made for me by Puk.
After sending a heap of pics of Fallow deer to Joel on what I thought might look good. He managed to find a great pic and copied it onto the leather and then worked his magic and came up with this.
Although the pics look great I can tell you they still do not do the detail justice as seeing it in the flesh. (might just be my crap photographic abilities)

Close up showing the amount of detail in his work.
You can even see the spots on his back and lines in his ear.:D

I was slack and didn't get some antler buttons made before Joel finished the arm guard so the leather buttons on it will be replaced with some antler ones soon (if I'm not slack again)
I'm more then happy with what he has turned from a lump of dead animal in to a work of art.
So if your at all thinking of getting an armguard why not get a custom made job from Joel, a great bloke and good at what he does to (for a newbie at it).
Cheers Joel.
I hope to one day have a nice buck on the gound to match if not beat the one on the guard:D then I'll have to get another made with a bigger buck on it again;)
